Today was a better day.

J tried to rouse everyone out of bed with various tactics. Everything from riding a skateboard down the hall with a glockenspiel tied to the back to broadcasting singing and dishwashing via transister to the flower room to a rousing rendition of super piano bouncy ball. Super Piano Bouncy Ball is conveniently located directly under saralee's room. when chris went up to wake her she threatened to kill j's future children. i think she meant it.

the canopy is complete. or near so.

After much pain and suffering the canopy for george and steph is complete.
if only they'd return to greensboro. [play only lasts so long for mice]

i drove graham out down I-40 and 85 around chapel hill, exit 148, to pick up his friend whose car had caught on fire around 3 AM. drunk navigation by the lawyer. i had not a drop but i managed to run a red light on the next exit anyway. [semis scare the crap out of me] The good news: she is alive and well, although a bit shaken. [ashing cigarette in coffee] And may teach us salsa. fun.
