mmmm...spring semester.
i thought it might be time for a new place. My sculpture/installation class decided to all get blogs as art journals this semester (for real this time) so i figured it'd be a good idea to have everything in the same space (something about livejournal being counterintuitive...i don't know). We'll see how it goes.
Anyways, the semester has started out swimmingly, I suppose, at least in the respect that i haven't drowned quite yet. There's always next week.
Classes are as follows: Digital Audio, Intermediate Video, Sculpture/Installation, Women Artists, and the DNA Revolution--which sounds much more grandiose than perhaps it actually is. Last Friday I learned that when you cut the tails off of elephants with 'A's' painted on them...people are born. I don't know, I might have missed something. I spent most of the hour or so poking Raman to keep him awake. (Yes! I have a class with Raman, who knew?) Apparently genetics for non-majors isn't quite the same as genetics for biology majors. We don't know what monomers are, but we do know about elephants.
Okay, wasting time again. I was wondering about the relevance of keeping any kind of record like this. Honestly, i could care less whether it's public or not. It's just information that's good to get out of my head sometimes. I guess that's all the justification it really needs.
Anyway, goodbye to the old record. I've already missed classes, been late to appointments and neglected to return phone calls, so here's to at least some new beginnings.
